- Arch: a raised, contoured arch on the inner side.
- Heel cup: a deep cup that keeps the heel centred.
- Pads: blue cushioning pads set into the orange shell under the heel and the forefoot.
- Top face: a dimpled blue surface along the whole length.
- Trim to fit: cut the toe end with scissors to match your shoe.
Take out the shoe's own insole before you fit these. Arch support can feel firm at first: wear them for an hour or two a day for the first days. They are a comfort insole, not a medical device; for foot pain, see a podiatrist.

Care and cleaning
Take them out of the shoes to air after use. Wipe them with a damp cloth and mild soap and let them dry at room temperature, away from a radiator.

How much should I cut? Lay the shoe's old insole on top and trim a little at a time along its outline; a cut cannot be undone.
