Reading the figures

Brightness in lumens and run time are the supplier's figures and are measured on different modes: the brightest mode runs for the shortest time. Water resistance is an IPX rating under IEC 60529 where one is stated: IPX4 withstands splashes, not being submerged.

Hang it up, switch it on

Steel hook: a bent wire hook on the top hangs the lamp from a loop, a cord or a pole.
Three modes: strong, soft and flashing, from the red button on the top.
Frosted shade: spreads the light so it does not dazzle in a small tent.
USB charging: the port sits under an orange rubber cover on the side of the neck.
Two sizes: a 30 W model and a slightly larger 60 W model.

The wattage is the supplier's rating for each model, and the supplier gives about 6 to 8 hours of light per charge; the lamp handles splashes, not heavy rain. Charge it fully before you pack it.

Which size should I pick? The 60 W model is a little larger and rated brighter; the 30 W model is the smaller lamp for a one-person tent.

Can it stand on a table? Yes. It stands on its rounded frosted end, or hangs from the hook.
