A 200 cm hammock strap of nylon webbing: wrap it round a tree, pass it through its own end loop and clip the hammock to whichever sewn loop sets the height.

Set the height by the loop

  • Length: 200 cm of webbing, 25 mm wide and 3 mm thick.
  • Sewn loops: a row of loops at one end; clip the hammock's carabiner into the one that sets the height and sag you want.
  • End loop: wrap the strap round the trunk and pass it through its own end loop.
  • Webbing: nylon with triple stitching (as listed).
  • Colours: black webbing with orange or blue stitching on the loops, or all black.

It is sold singly, without a carabiner: a hammock between two trees needs two straps and two carabiners. The listing gives no load limit, so keep within the rating of your hammock and carabiners.

Assembly

Wrap the strap round the trunk at about head height, pass the loop end through the end loop and pull it snug. Clip the hammock's carabiner into a sewn loop, do the same on the second tree, and move the carabiners along the loops until the hammock hangs with a gentle sag.

How many do I need? Two: one for each tree. The strap is sold singly.

Does it come with a carabiner? No. Use the carabiners that come with your hammock or a pair of your own.
