Brim, ear flaps and neck warmer in one piece

  • Brim: a short knitted peak, about 6 cm deep, that keeps low sun and snow off the eyes.
  • Pompom: a faux-fur pompom about 10 cm across on the crown.
  • Ear flaps: knitted flaps over the ears that run down into the neck piece.
  • Neck warmer: a ribbed knit neck piece about 22 cm tall that pulls up over the lower face.
  • Plush edge: a soft plush trim round the bottom of the neck piece.

It is one size for heads of about 56 to 60 cm around, a textured knit for cold, dry days: in rain or wet snow, wear a hood over it.
