Reading the figures
Brightness in lumens and run time are the supplier's figures and are measured on different modes: the brightest mode runs for the shortest time. Water resistance is an IPX rating under IEC 60529 where one is stated: IPX4 withstands splashes, not being submerged.
Light band for width, spotlight for reach
- 230° band: The flexible LED strip lights the ground ahead and to both sides.
- Front spotlight: A small XPE lamp gives a focused beam for trail markers or close jobs.
- Five modes: Band high and low, spot high and low, and a strobe from a two-second press.
- Wave sensor: Pass a hand in front of the sensor to switch the light without finding the button.
- USB-C charging: A red light shows it is charging and turns green when full.
The band is soft silicone on an elastic strap, so it suits running and camp work more than heavy use. Brightness, run times and weight are the maker's figures (supplier-stated). IPX4 covers rain, not being submerged.
