Pressure from your hand, not a plug
- Hand pump: The piston head pops out and builds the pressure with each press.
- Any ground coffee: Use your own roast, from mild to dark.
- Screw-on cup: The drinking cup covers the outlet head when the maker is packed.
- Five parts: Cup, outlet head, filter basket, piston and water tank separate for rinsing.
- Pack size: A slim capsule shape that fits a rucksack side pocket or a car door bin.
Bring water heated to about 90 °C: the maker does not heat water itself. Expect 10 to 30 presses per cup, more for a stronger shot. The capacity is the supplier's figure.

Care and cleaning
Unscrew the parts after each cup, tip out the grounds and rinse everything in warm water. Let the parts dry before you screw the maker back together.
Frequently asked questions
Does it heat the water? No. Pour in water you have heated on a stove or from a flask, at about 90 °C.
How many presses does a cup take? Usually 10 to 30, depending on how strong you like it.
Can I use capsules? This maker takes ground coffee in its filter basket. Capsules are not mentioned for this model.
