Peak, ear flaps and a soft lining

  • Peak: a short knitted peak, about 6 cm deep, that keeps low sun and snow out of the eyes.
  • Ear flaps: round knitted flaps, about 10 cm across, that sit over the ears.
  • Lining: a soft grey plush lining inside the crown.
  • Knit: a ribbed knit about 18 cm deep, with a jagged contrast line knitted across the crown.
  • Patch: a small leather patch on the front above the peak.

It is one size for heads of about 55 to 60 cm around. It is a knitted hat for cold, dry days: in rain or wet snow, wear a hood over it.
