Reading the figures

Brightness in lumens and run time are the supplier's figures and are measured on different modes: the brightest mode runs for the shortest time. Water resistance is an IPX rating under IEC 60529 where one is stated: IPX4 withstands splashes, not being submerged.

Wide flood, focused spot and red light

COB flood panels: Panels on the front and both sides spread light across the tent, the bench or the path.
Central spot: A focused beam from the middle lens for looking further ahead.
Red light: Red modes for reading a map or tying a fly without dazzling others.
Motion sensor: Turn on sensor mode, then wave your hand about 15 cm in front to switch the light.
Battery gauge: Four blue lights on top show the charge left, and it recharges over USB.

The maker gives no brightness or run time figures. The lamp resists light rain and splashes but is not for use under water.

Care and cleaning

Wipe the lamp with a damp cloth and let the strap air-dry. Keep the charging port closed in the rain. Charge it before storing it for a long time.

Frequently asked questions

How does the motion sensor work? Switch on sensor mode with its button, then wave a hand in front of the lamp to turn the light on or off.

Can I wear it over a hat? Yes. The elastic strap adjusts with a slider to fit over a beanie or a cap.

How do I know when to charge it? The four blue lights on top show the charge left. Charge it when the gauge runs low.
