Reading the figures
Brightness in lumens and run time are the supplier's figures and are measured on different modes: the brightest mode runs for the shortest time. Water resistance is an IPX rating under IEC 60529 where one is stated: IPX4 withstands splashes, not being submerged.
Wave it on, tilt it down
- Six modes: high, low, 8 LEDs, 9 LEDs, red light and red flash.
- Motion sensor: press the sensor button, then wave a hand in front of the lamp to turn it on or off.
- Red light: hold the power button for three seconds to go straight to red.
- Tilting head: the lamp pivots through 60 degrees to light the path or your hands.
- Battery indicator: four blue dots show the charge left.
- USB-C charging: a 1000 mAh battery charges from a USB-C port on the side.
The output is 2000 lumens and the rating IPX4, both as the supplier states them; IPX4 means splashes and rain, not immersion. Run time depends on the mode, so charge it fully before a long night out.

Care and cleaning
Wipe the lens with a soft dry cloth, keep the charging port dry before you plug it in, and charge the battery every few months when the lamp is stored.
Frequently asked questions
Will a wave turn it on by accident? Only in sensor mode. Press the sensor button first; with the sensor off, the lamp answers the power button only.
Can I use it in the rain? Yes, it is rated IPX4 for rain and splashes (supplier-stated). Do not submerge it.
