Before you rely on it
Practise with a compass and a map on a known route before you need them, and keep the compass away from phones, magnets and metal while taking a bearing. Check a first aid kit before each trip and replace what has been used or is past its date.
210 x 130 cm of reflective foil
- Reflective foil: A thin metallised PET film reflects warmth back towards the body.
- Full-size sheet: At 210 x 130 cm it wraps round an adult from the shoulders down.
- Pocket-sized: Each blanket folds into a small flat packet of about 50 g.
- Wrapped one by one: Every blanket comes in its own wrapper, so the rest of the pack stays sealed.
- Many uses: A wrap, a ground sheet, a windbreak or a sunshade at the beach or the campsite.
A foil blanket is a thin, crinkly sheet, not a woven blanket, and it tears if it catches on branches. Once unfolded it is hard to fold back as small. Sizes and weight are the seller's figures.

Care and cleaning
Keep the blankets sealed until you need them. A used blanket can be wiped clean and dried, but it will not fold as small again.
