Solar String Lights with Vintage Bulbs, IP65, for Camping, 5 or 10 m
Free shipping on all orders.
Solar string lights with warm white, vintage-style LED bulbs for the tent, the caravan awning and the terrace. A staked solar panel charges them by day, so no socket is needed. Choose 5 m with 20 bulbs or 10 m with 40 bulbs.
Reading the figures
Brightness in lumens and run time are the supplier's figures and are measured on different modes: the brightest mode runs for the shortest time. Water resistance is an IPX rating under IEC 60529 where one is stated: IPX4 withstands splashes, not being submerged.
Charged by the sun, hung where you need it
- Solar panel: The panel sits on a ground stake and tilts towards the sun to charge the string.
- Vintage-look bulbs: Clear teardrop bulbs with a warm white LED filament, 1 W each (supplier-stated).
- Long lead: A 6 m cable runs from the panel to the first bulb, so the panel can stand in the sun.
- Three ways to mount: Stake the panel in a lawn, clip the string to a rail or fence, or screw the holders to wood.
- Shatter-resistant bulbs: The bulbs are acrylic, not glass, so a knock on the pitch is less of a worry.
Solar lights shine as long as the panel was charged: after a dull day expect a shorter evening. The length counts the lit part of the string only. The IP65 rating is the supplier's figure, so do not leave the bulbs lying in standing water.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a socket or batteries? No. The solar panel charges the string during the day and the bulbs run from that charge after dark.
Where should the panel go? In direct sun, angled towards it. The 6 m lead lets the panel stand away from a shaded tent or terrace.
Can it stay out in the rain? Yes, the lights are rated IP65 for rain and spray (supplier-stated). Do not submerge them.
