Reading the figures

Brightness in lumens and run time are the supplier's figures and are measured on different modes: the brightest mode runs for the shortest time. Water resistance is an IPX rating under IEC 60529 where one is stated: IPX4 withstands splashes, not being submerged.

Clip it to a cap brim and wave to switch

  • Cap clip: The sprung clip grips a cap brim, a jacket edge or a rucksack strap.
  • Motion sensor: Turn on sensor mode, then wave a hand in front to switch the light without touching it.
  • 180° tilt: The light head tilts to aim at your hands, the hook or the path ahead.
  • Row of LEDs: A line of LEDs along the front gives broad, even light for close work.
  • Battery gauge: Four lights on top show 25, 50, 75 or 100 percent charge.

This is a light for close work and short walks, not a long-range torch. Brightness and run time figures are not given for this light. Keep it out of heavy rain.

Can I use it in the rain? Keep it under the cap peak or a hood in wet weather, and never submerge it.
