Choosing a size

As a rule of thumb, a day hike needs 15 to 30 litres, a night or two away 30 to 50 litres, and a longer trip 50 litres or more. Measure your back from the bony point at the base of the neck down to the top of the hip bones and compare it with the pack's back length where it is given.

Mesh vest with a bladder sleeve and chest pockets

  • Bladder sleeve: A sleeve inside the pack holds a water bladder behind the front panel.
  • Chest pockets: One zipped pocket and one pocket with an elastic top, on either side of the chest.
  • Open mesh: Mesh across the back, sides and shoulders lets air through on warm days.
  • Bungee cord: A cord across the front holds a light layer.
  • Reflective strips: Strips on both shoulders catch headlights at dawn and dusk.
  • Adjustable fit: Two buckled chest straps and two side straps pull the vest close so it does not bounce.

This is a slim vest for water and small essentials, not a day pack. It is one size, adjusted with the straps. The water bladder shown beside it in some photos is not listed in the box.

One size. Set the fit with the two chest straps and the two side straps until the vest sits close without pressing.

Care and cleaning

Hand wash in cool water with a mild soap and hang it to dry. Empty and dry the bladder sleeve after each use.

Will it bounce when I run? Tighten the chest and side straps once it is filled, and it sits close to the body.
