Reading the figures

Brightness in lumens and run time are the supplier's figures and are measured on different modes: the brightest mode runs for the shortest time. Water resistance is an IPX rating under IEC 60529 where one is stated: IPX4 withstands splashes, not being submerged.

Is there a real flame? No. An LED behind the amber shade imitates a flickering flame, so there is no fuel, wick or heat.

Can I leave it outside in the rain? It is rated IP44 (supplier-stated), which covers splashes and light rain. Bring it in during heavy rain.

How do I change the mode? Tap the round touch button on the base to switch on, and tap again to move between flame, breathing and steady light.
